WIVB TV4 Buffalo, NY - Police Targeting Pair of Credit Card Thieves Police are targeting a pair of credit card thieves who went on a recent spending spree in North Buffalo. News 4's Michele McClintick reports security cameras caught them in the act at a Target store on Delaware Avenue. Amherst police are hoping someone recognizes these two men, who authorities say racked up around 700 dollars worth of electronics from a Target store. Amherst Police Detective John Koss says they did it with a woman's stolen credit card. Koss said, "We believe it was taken at the victim's employment or the Wegman's parking lot on Alberta Drive." And police say within a few hours, over 3,000 dollars worth of merchandise was spent on the card. Koss said, "Over time, people can pull it off well, and it lends to believability of being an everyday consumer."
